CENTER HIGH SCHOOL REUNIONS

Class of 1964 will have their 55th reunion the weekend of September 27-29. There will be a casual Friday night event, a Saturday night dinner, and a Sunday Brunch. For details to the class website at center64.org.

Center Class of 1969 50th reunion weekend - October 4 - October 5,Kansas City, MO and Overland Park, KS. More info about exact times and locations to follow. We will probably arrange for a tour of the High School and Museum for Saturday afternoon. We’ve heard a suggestion of a Boone School Reunion, and we could arrange for a tour there if there were enough interested. If you have anything you’d like to suggest for Saturday morning or afternoon, please let us know on this page or through Messenger; and we’ll see what we can put together. Can’t wait to see everyone  

Center  Class of '74  45th Reunion will be held Center's Homecoming weekend. Kick off Friday Night October 11th 5pm at the main entrance to the High School where the alumni and guest will join with other alumni , THE CENTER EDUCATION FOUNDATION will provide an informal meal (hot dogs, chips, cookies, water), tours of the school and Center museum, and free tickets to the football game. Alumni will need to make reservations for all the weekend activities; directions will follow. The  Yellowjackets face off against Independence, Ks Bulldogs at 7pm.  At half time, Sports Hall of Fame Inductees will be honored. Relive our spirit filled nights whether on the field, band, cheer, drill team, or fans in the stands. We were and are Yellowjacket Strong!  

We are inviting our surrounding Class Alumni from   '72, '73, '75 and '76 to join our plans for the weekend as our High School experience was based on the entire 3 years.  The teachers will be invited as our guests to  the activities. We are seeking dedicated Class of '74 grads , who want to become committee members for the 45th reunion plus host our fellow grads for a unified weekend. Center Class of 1980 will gather during Homecoming weekend 2019. They will have an informal gathering, celebrating at the Blue Moose in Red Bridge shopping center Homecoming weekend, October 12, 2019. We do not have a room reserved, but plan to meet Saturday @7pm, in the large bar area with two outside areas. If you plan to attend, you can reserve a table (816-759-8510), the more tables reserved will ensure us taking over the entire bar! If you haven’t seen Red Bridge shopping center lately, it has gone through a major makeover this past year.

If you want to make it a true Homecoming experience, the football game is Friday night at 7pm. Beforehand, you can tour the mini museum inside the school (located across from the photo lab down stairs) created by our own Mrs. Cox (remember her? Civics teacher),  Registration information (it's free, but we need a head count for food) will be posted soon. If you have any Center memorabilia you’d like to part with, they do take donations.

Center Class of 1999 will celebrate Homecoming on October 11th at the High School. Hot dog dinner, tours of the school and museum, and free tickets to the football game provided by the Center Education Foundation and CHS Athletic Department. Registration coming soon.
